DELL EqualLogic Manual Transfer Utility is a tool for PS Series (EqualLogic) storage environments that helps you perform the initial seeding of asynchronous replication without relying on a slow or congested network link. Instead of sending the first, full copy of a volume over the WAN, the utility lets you export the replica data to portable storage, physically transport it to the remote site, and import it into the partner group. After the baseline is in place, regular incremental replications proceed over the network as usual.
